It was recently learned that Robert W. Keiser, a non-grad from 14th Co., passed away July 24, 2008. In trying to track down lost company mates, Fred Webster (14th Co.) reached Robert’s widow who provided a link to his bio which has been added to our Memorial page:

Laid to Rest: Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland
Mr. Keiser was employed with the Indian Head Naval Weapons Center as an Engineer and Program Manager for 27 years. In June of 2006 he was awarded the Meritorious Civilian Service Certificate for his outstanding work which resulted in saving the taxpayers more than $20 million. He was a member of New Life Church in La Plata, MD. Bob was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed playing tennis and gardening.
He was son of the late Robert Edward Keiser and the late Audrey Agnes Hadden Keiser
He is survived by his wife, Linda Keiser, one sister-in-law, Ellen (Bob) Carroll of La Plata, MD, three nieces, Susan Carroll of La Plata, MD, Julieann Posey of Brooms Island, MD, and James Staples of Welcome, MD, one aunt and uncle, John and Beth Keiser, and four cousins, Carol Bishop of Moorhead, MN, Linda Shipman of Granbury, TX, Jane Krumpe of Oxford, OH, and Suzanne Surface of Warthington, OH. Also survived by many second cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 10am till Service time at 12pm at New Life Church, 9690 Shepherd’s Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646.
A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 12pm at New Life Church, La Plata, MD.
Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
Clergy will be the Rev. Aaron Rummage.
Pallbearers will be Steve Burgold, Rick Hurrell, Robert Keech, Carl Nurmi, Richard Blancoto, and John Kupke.
