Attention All Members,
The nomination window for the 2027 Distinguished Graduate Award (DGA) opens on 1 November 2026 and closes on 15 February 2027. Since the award’s inception in 1998, 122 graduates—spanning the classes of 1931 through 2006—have been honored.
The DGA recognizes up to four living graduates annually who have distinguished themselves in their fields and and demonstrate sustained, active support for the U.S. Naval Academy, the USNA Alumni Association and Foundation or USNA-affiliated groups. No graduate can be a DGA if they are not first nominated by an Association member. For information about the program, visit the DGA webpage. For guidance on preparing and submitting a nomination package, review the DGA Nominator Gouge.
Direct any questions by email to the program manager Wes Huey ’87 or by phone phone at 410-295-4023.
