The Brigade of Midshipmen was inspired and motivated by the 2025 recipients’ speeches and advice during the Distinguished Graduate Award (DGA) ceremony. The annual DGA program honors four of our living Academy graduates who have made significant contributions to their field or community, and recipients are nominated by their alumni peers. The 2025 recipients are Admiral Jonathan W. Greenert ’75, USN (Ret.); Vice Admiral Anthony L. Winns ’78, USN (Ret.); Captain Sunita L. Williams ’87, USN (Ret.); and Ms. JoAnna L. Sohovich ’93.
