In mid-December, Alan Jaquith (3rd Co.) performed Hurricane Melissa relief work with a great team from Baptists on Mission in El Cobre, west of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Besides cutting up trees, removing debris, and taking down broken walls (and sharpening chainsaws), they had the opportunity to attend church and visit San Juan Hill, of Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders fame. They also saw lots of really old American cars!
