The National Academy of Construction (NAC) inducted 36 industry leaders at its virtual annual meeting Oct. 29-30, 2020. NAC, now in its twenty-first year, honors the leaders of the design and construction industry who have demonstrated outstanding contributions over a career. The 36 leaders inducted:

Wayne Crew, general secretary of the academy, said, “The 2020 class undoubtedly strengthens the academy membership. Their career achievements, collectively, broaden NAC’s wealth of experience.” Editor-in-Chief of ENR magazine Janice L. Tuchman received theacademy’s highest honor, the Ted C. Kennedy Award. NAC also awarded three scholarships forthe first time. Recipients are Maryam Echreshzadeh, New Jersey Institute of Technology; Karilin Yiu, University of California, Berkley; and Julia Gravano, Wentworth Institute of Technology. All three are studying civil engineering and construction management. Edd Gibson received the academy’s first Richard L. Tucker Outstanding Service Award. The NAC annual meeting will return to Boston in 2023.
