Kaiserman Company Enters New Era with Appointment of Mark Poston as President

First non-family leader brings decades of experience

PHILADELPHIA, PA – JUNE 12, 2018: Kaiserman Company is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Poston as its new President. With the decision of third-generation President & CEO, Homer Robinson, to step down after six years of leadership, Poston becomes the first non-family member to head the Philadelphia-based real estate business.

Kaiserman Company, founded by Kevy Kaiserman in 1923, builds, owns, and operates multi-family residential, retail, and office buildings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Its flagship property, the Rittenhouse Claridge, is one of the premier residential high-rise apartment buildings on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

“We led an extensive search and felt very fortunate to have an extremely qualified group of candidates,” said Amanda Kaiserman, board member and daughter of the late second-generation CEO, Ken Kaiserman. “It was a great challenge for us to choose amongst them, but Mark rose to the top of the list, demonstrating the right combination of ability, personality, and experience. Mark is just the right fit and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Kaiserman Company, ushering our family business into a new phase.”

“I was very excited that we had such fine candidates, and we were delighted to unanimously choose Mark,” said Ron Kaiserman, Board Chairman, and son of late founder Kevy Kaiserman. “It is comforting to know that he is ready, willing, and able to lead our legacy with confidence.” Poston comes to Kaiserman Company with 40 years of leadership experience, most recently as the CEO of Resource Residential, operating over 75 apartment communities, $200 Million in managed revenue, and $2 Billion in property value.

“I am at a loss for words to express how thrilled I am to be chosen to head such an iconic company,” said Poston. “Kaiserman has a longstanding, exceptional reputation, and I am profoundly honored to be entrusted with being the first non-family leader to uphold the Kaiserman standards of excellence.” “We are confident that Mark will bring a high level of professional leadership and personal integrity to
his new role with us, and, personally, I couldn’t be more pleased in bringing Mark on as my successor,” said Robinson.
