“Arizona Daily Star – Guy “”Old Hippie”” Row Rogers passed away on December 7, 2016 while hunting. Guy was born September 14, 1952 in Arlington, Virginia to parents, Rose Marie Poole and Glen Rogers. Guy spent his formative years in the D.C. area before joining the Navy. He served on the USS Elliot during the Vietnam War and attended the US Naval Academy. After leaving the Navy, Guy moved to Tucson, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona and worked for Raytheon until his retirement in 2013. Guy is survived by his three daughters, Sara Rogers, Angelica Rogers and Amy Diana Rogers as well as his siblings, William Rogers and Dorothy Taylor. A wake will be held at Guy’s residence on December 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
