Update on the USNA Alumni Association & Foundation Center

Classmates,

Here is a quick update on ‘78’s Alumni Center fundraising campaign.

First, thank you to all that have supported our pledge to build this much needed facility.  Through your generous support we have raised over $575,000 toward our $750,000 goal through the donations and pledges from 226 donors, 37 of whom are plankowners.

Also, I want to publicly thank and send a big “Bravo Zulu” to our 37 Plankowners whose support is leading the way…

All PLANKOWNERS will be individually recognized on the “PLANKOWNER Donor Wall” in the new center. The exact location and design details of the wall remain to be determined, but the Plankowner wall will be prominently displayed in perpetuity within an appropriate space for maximum visibility of all those who commit to the development and sustainment of this legacy project. Additionally, a virtual Plankowners wall will be displayed on usna.com.

If you want become a Plankowner it is not too late, but time is running out!  The opportunity to become a Plankowner ends December 31, 2022, so don’t miss this opportunity.  Join us now.

Your gift is credited in three ways: you support the first part of our 50th Class Gift; you become a Plankowner of the new Alumni Center; and, you also become a member of the President’s Circle.

You can go to www.usna.com/give/1978 or you can call/email Dan Quattrini ‘81, Director of Class Giving, at 952-210-5533 or dan.quattrini@usna.com for further information or help making your pledge. Remember, to become a Plankowner requires committing $12,500 or more to the project either as a one time donation or pledging $2,500 per year for five years.
