Navy/Notre Dame football in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday, 29 August 2020

Packages(Please note, last week more hotel space for the 3 star option Dublin only/3 day package was secured) There are a variety of travel packages to choose from. You can choose from 3-star, 4-star and 5-star hotels as well as a selection of itineraries. For those who want to travel Ireland on your own, a great option is to purchase the 3 Day Dublin package. This package surrounds the days of the game so that you’ll be in the heart of the game festivities. It also guarantees your hotel room and game ticket while providing you free time before and/or after the game to explore on your own.

Tickets: Currently, all game tickets are owned by the promotor of the game – Anthony Travel. This is different from the past two trips to Dublin. This means the only way to guarantee a game ticket now is by purchasing a travel package at www.navy2ireland.com Seats are being assigned on a first come/first served basis – the earlier you purchase your package, the more likely you’ll be able to get your seat preference. Individual game tickets are expected to go on sale early 2020. If you wait, be sure you are able to get a flight and hotel. In 2012, tickets sold out in two hours.

Hotels & Flights: Thousands of Navy and Notre Dame fans will be flying to Dublin at approximately the same time. This is huge pressure on the airlines and hotels in the area. We have put a hold on hotel rooms for those purchasing travel packages. However, airfare is not included in travel packages. Commercial flights generally do not become available to the public until 11 months prior to departure. Anthony Travel will partner with Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national flag airline carrier, and potentially other carriers, to provide exclusive flight options from key cities prior to them going on sale to the general public. Priority will be provided to those that have already purchased a package.

Events: Planning for events prior to the game is still underway and details will be provided once confirmed. Please check for updates at www.usna.com/ireland as events will be added.

Should you have any questions regarding travel packages or game activity, please contact Noreen Frenaye at Noreen.frenaye@usna.com.

Hope you are having a great summer.

Fair winds…
