Navy and Marine Corps Stadium Class of 78 Arch

At our 25th reunion our Class dedicated an “Arch” supporting the renovation of Navy Marine Corps stadium. The Arch represents the contributions of U.S. fighting forces during WWI highlighting Marine action at the battle of Belleau Wood. Recently a couple of classmates asked me what the dedication plaque below our Class crest said. Posted here, it states that ’78 was the first class in a generation to meet the selection number of the Marine Corps, hence our Class support for this project.
