Two new books by Robert Lamont (3rd Co.) have been added to the Class Authors pages. The books, Calder Chronicles Book I and Book II, were released in late 2020 and early 2021. They are Robert’s 13th and 14th books on the website. The Calder Chronicles are a coming of age story of Delmar Calder beginning in the 1680s. His journey takes him from his home in Guildford, England to a posting as Midshipman aboard HMS Swiftsure. He must navigate the complex path of professional and personal relationships both aboard his ship and ashore. During these travels he discovers a partner that offers love, home, and a future. It is against these possibilities that Delmar Calder must balance his duty to King and country with his pursuit of personal happiness. Beyond the horizon, unseen enemies gather to challenge England on the waves, casting his fate into the uncertain cauldron of battle. Both books are available on Amazon.
