Passing of Luke Ridenhour’s (6th Co.) Son

From Luke’s Facebook page:

“Classmates, it is with a heavy heart to inform you of the passing of my first child, Jacob. He fought a good fight, but cancer and its accompanying side effects proved to be a foe he couldn’t defeat. Please keep his wife and two children in your prayers.

Naval aviation had a point system for anything and everything that disrupted daily lives. Every adverse possibility had a point value, and individual or collective values could result in flight restrictions.

Only one adverse event had an incalculable value, and that was the death of a child. Sadly, I now know why.”
