USNA Alumni Association Mourns RADM Edgar Keats ’35, USN (Ret.), Oldest Living Alumni

The Alumni Association is sad to announce the passing on 2 March of Rear Admiral Edgar Keats ’35, USN (Ret.). President of the Class of 1935, Admiral Keats was also our oldest alumnus at 104. 

 

Admiral Keats celebrated his 100th birthday at the Academy on 20 January 2015, a milestone marked with a feature in Shipmate. The article is available here. Admiral Keats’ family cordially invites you to join them for a celebration of his life to be held on Saturday, 9 March at 1100 at The Baltimore Country Club, 4712 Club Rd, Baltimore MD 21210.
