Count Felix von Luckner – the Sea Devil.  He ran the British Blockade in a clipper ship disguised as a lumber merchant ship and captured 18 ships in 14 months during WW I.  He was captured by the Allies twice and escaped in a 24 ft open boat across 3,000 miles  from a New Zealand POW camp.
