Classmates,
It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of a Naval Officer who will always remain “Our Commandant”. CAPT Forbes passed away on Jan 5th. Many from our class remained in contact with CAPT Deke over the years. I think he had a special place in his heart for our class. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020, at 1300 in the US Naval Academy Chapel, followed by a reception in Alumni Hall. Inurnment will take place in the Naval Academy Columbarium. (I have it marked on my calendar.) Memorials may be made to the US Naval Academy Foundation (Athletic and Scholarship Program), 25 Maryland Ave Annapolis MD 21401
